Bridging the Gap: Empowering Tomorrow’s Engineers with Lean Thinking!

IIT Palakkad and Institute for Lean Construction Excellence (ILCE) jointly  organised The Lean Academic Conclave 2025, themed “Bridging the Gaps: Empowering Tomorrow’s Engineers with Lean Thinking”. The two-day event brought together academicians, researchers, and industry professionals to explore lean methodologies and their relevance in engineering education and practice.

 Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address. Dr. Koshy Varghese, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras presided over the event. The conclave featured keynote talks, panel discussions, and student presentations that aimed to foster collaboration between academia and industry in promoting lean thinking.
