Advance Indo-Japan sanitation collaboration: IIT Palakkad's GSCOE hosts Japan Industrial delegation 

The Global Sanitation Center of Excellence (GSCOE), IIT Palakkad, had the privilege of hosting Mr. Yasuhiro Matsumoto, Director, TSS Business Development, Taisei Kougyou Co. Ltd., and Mr. Kenichi Tamura, Director, E-Square Inc., Japan. The visit served as a dynamic platform for exploring sustainable sanitation technologies, sharing innovative perspectives, and identifying future opportunities for Indo-Japan collaboration in advancing inclusive sanitation solutions.

GSCOE team, headed by Dr. Praveena Gangadharan (Project Director, GSCOE) and Dr. Devasena. M (CTO, GSCOE) facilitated the event, underscoring the center's enduring commitment to strengthening global partnerships and fostering industrial innovation in the sanitation and environmental sectors. The discussion was further enriched by the participation of Dr. Vivek (Associate Dean, ICSR), Dr. Nelson Muthu (Faculty-in-charge, Academic-Industry Collaboration), Dr. Selva Pandian (Industry Liaison Officer), and Mr. Midhu Unnithan (COO, TECHIN), emphasizing the institute’s spirit of collaboration and its ongoing efforts to deepen international engagement.
